Saif Ali Khan’s much awaited Agent Vindod finally strikes theatre today. A lot has been written and said about Agent Vinod. Saif certainly declares this film to be a major bet in his career. And, we give you an vision into what this film is all about.

Agent Vinod is an ambitious script, set in various countries, It is by far the most credible secret agent movie made in Bollywood.

Agent Vinod movie is spy thriller. The story begins with a series of seemingly unconnected events, all over the globe. In Uzbekistan, an Ex-KCG officer is tortured murdered. In Cape Town, a group of international business tycoons discuss a rumor that the dead KCB officer had a nuclear suitcase Bomb hidden away.

In Moscow, an Indian secret agent is exposed. The agent is shot dead while trying to send a code red message to India. In India, the head of RAW sees the incomplete message. All it contains is a number 242.Enter AGENT VINOD. Vinod (Saif Ali Khan) is the kind of agent who first kicks the door open and then finds out what’s behind it. His unconventional approach puts him in dangerous situations, but he manages to get the crucial leads.

Vinod is sent to Moscow to investigate why his colleague killed. Vinod finds out that a Russian money launderer Abu Nazar has sent 58 Million Dollars to a contact in Morocco, for an operation against India. Vinod leaves for Morocco, where he meets an elderly Mafidsi Kazan and the beautiful but mysterious or ruby.

A series of twists and turns take Vinod across the globe from marakkesh to Riga, Karachi to Delhi and finally London. Where he discovers the ultimate conspiracy. Agent Vinod, you may not agree with his methods, but you sure are glade he’s on our side. Agent Vinod your passport to action adventure.

The first half, the audience is taken on a world tour where the Rajinikant of a spy outsmarts people and situations as if he were a superhero.

Director Sriram Raghavan who has stupendous thrillers like Ek Hasina Thi and Johnny Gaddar fails this time in storytelling. There are random scenes that appear in the film without context.

Pritam music comes up with a striking score. ‘Pungi’ is, of course, a hit. The mujra, ‘Dil Mera Muft Ka’, is equally catchy. Muraleedharan C.K.’s cinematography is eye-filling and quite good.

Saif ali Khan as a spy has a distinct style of dialogue delivery that gels well with the character. Saif has put in genuine efforts in acting and it can be seen. Kareena kappor has a pivotal part to play in Agnet Vinod. She gets into the skin of her character nicely. However, as a couple, they barely get time to flaunt their fabulous chemistry.

Prem Chopra after a long gap, the veteran returns as a baddie and I must add, he plays it with flourish. Gulshan Grover, in a brief role, is perfect. Ram Kapoor is superb and Ravi Kissen is alright.

On the whole, Agent Vinod may be the best looking actioner we’ve seen but the movie is without a plot and a miss mash. The movie is not at all a flawless venture.
